VCN is a unique alloy that adds two elements that work together to strengthen steel-vanadium and nitrogen. VCN can significantly lower the strengthening costs of high‐strength, low‐alloy (HSLA) and other alloy steels. VCN strengthens steel more efficiently than ferrovanadium, allowing steelmakers to use less vanadium in high-strength steels and reducing vanadium costs by as much as 40%.
Size Range: 100% less than 75 mm;
Strong, moisture-resistant bags containing specific vanadium content on request.
VCN is widely used in many applications, such as weldable rebars, structural shapes, hot-rolled strip, and seamless tubes.
